Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name in the world of TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, was born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. Then she began moving to Texas to pursue the field of physical therapy within the University of Texas. De La Garza did not reside in Texas for very long, and she quickly moved into Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of parts as an actor, including independent local films and commercials. The actress quickly discovered her love in the field of acting despite the small parts. She relocated in New York. Her first acting gig was with the soap-opera All My Children. Her roles were sporadic on JAG the Las Vegas and Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. In 2004, she was cast as her first part of a series on The Mountain The Mountain, which was a television show that lasted only a few episodes. De La Garza played Maria Serrano as well as a variety of the best TV actors such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable character came in 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. She then migrated to the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza was nominated for numerous awards, including Best Supporting Actress for TV by Imagen Foundation Awards as well as numerous ALMA Award nominations. In 2008 she took home the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a regular role on CSI Miami a short time after. She portrayed Marisol Deko, Horatio Caine's wife. She played the character Dr. Lena Solis, she was most recently seen in NBC's dark comedy Do No Harm. The series was cancelled after two short episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her older sister Cory has a ten year old brother who is older than her. Milano was raised in a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting career aged seven years old after her babysitter accompanied her at an audition. The audition she took part in was one of over 1,000 applicants. She was selected as one of just four girls. Milano was featured on television in commercials and off Broadway productions, including a musical adaptation of Jane Eyre.
