Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is an American actress. Other roles she has played include Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock from Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell in Love with Acting in preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She did theatre studies at Northwestern University, and spent one term at British American Drama Academy. Anna was working by the theater in the Chicago area for a few years prior to trying her hand at TV and film roles. Anna was chosen to play Arden in the TV show Down the Shore in the 29-episode show Down the Shore. After guest appearances as a on several TV shows and Films, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue in the 90's She was then cast as Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character that she played for a period of two seasons on Deadwood's season two. In 2008, she was cast as Skyler in Breaking Bad. Sully, the Deadwood film and other films also featured her. Gunn also took to the stage starring in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. in 2022 Gunn also participated in an audio-play series named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad's story is usually dependent on the relationships between Walter White, his wife Skyler and their uneasy relationship. The degrading of this relationship is in line with Walter White's last days.
